What a fun night!!! Our company hosted an event here and Oh Boy!!!! We had a blast!!! The music is great the atmosphere is awesome you can sink in your toes to the sand and watch waves while eating, space is huge and can accommodate hundreds of people, the food is decent we are served BBQ style buffet, the 2 free alcoholic drinks is weak but we ask the bar tender to put more alcohol and he’s nice to do so. We will comeback for sure with more friends.
Fun place to eat outside and with a nice view of the ocean. They had live music performing and heaters provided to stay warm. The drink menu was expansive with creative and fun names. The fish tacos and clam chowder were great. The service was very friendly. I’d recommend trying this place out. Hope this helps!
Im a local. Im here for the sightseeing and people watching. I don't drink so, I can't comment on that. The food is basically and overpriced (as expected) but Tiki Mondays is everything!!!
The Martell’s is a true tropical paradise! The vibrant ambiance, delicious cocktails, and mouthwatering island-inspired dishes create an unforgettable experience. Both wraps we ordered avocado chicken and Santa fe chicken were very good and the side of fries!!! The wraps come with chips but the fries were to die for! Friendly staff, great music, and beautiful decor make this spot a must-visit. Highly recommended!
I've lived in New Jersey my whole life and I've been to point pleasant boardwalk but I have actually never went inside of the Tiki bar I'm glad that my friend and I decided to go out we went for dinner I got mozzarella sticks which were good but I also got the sweet potato wrapped and rice do not order that it was not tasty at all. Are waitress was very nice and friendly we didn't realize that you can sit anywhere once you walk in and they will serve you food and if you go downstairs there will be the beach part and you can listen to a different kinds of music there usually a DJ the band was playing upstairs as soon as you walked in it was nice to be able to listen to two different kinds of music at the same place. A word of advice if you're going to go here go early because the line once we left midnight there was a line to get into the place halfway down the boardwalk. This is a place that I guess a lot of the 21 year olds come to hang out and dance. I would have to give this place a five-star it had a mixture of crowd. The band played really well and then if you went down by the beach you had a great DJ so all different kinds of music I must go place to check out if you're in the area.
I've been coming here every week during every summer for years and I've never disappointed! I absolutely love the outdoor seating, the DJs and live music, and especially the food (I always order the lobster roll now Lobster BLT and Caribbean Colada!). It's the best I've had. The convenience of having the bar on the beach and being able to drink/ eat on the beach is the best part about Martells! I tell everyone to come here!
We last minute decided to have an informal get together the night before my husband and I got married in lieu of a formal rehearsal dinner nearby in Point Pleasant. We had no reservations, nothing booked, didn't think to call Tiki ahead of time to be like "hey we are bringing a lot of people on separate tabs in for drinks and food right now be warned"...at the height of their tourist season on the last day of July. I felt this review was warranted because, especially having worked in food service myself, I am always both appreciative and blown away when an establishment can flawlessly handle a LARGE crowd of people coming in perfectly. All orders were correct and quality (nothing burnt, no hairs, etc.) food was great, the servers were all pleasant and accommodating, bartenders were fast, and everybody was happy/had a great time. The establishment was clean (which xan be tough for an outside bar) and it's such a perfect location. I've been here many times before at the height of the season and it's always consistently a good time, and to have them be a part of such a special weekend was truly a treasured memory we will always have. We had many people from out of town come that have never been to the Jersey Shore that had a GREAT time! I love this place :)
